Everything we do has an impact. Every step we take makes a mark in the ground. In a world where everything seems to be connected, it's a good thing to know the effect you have on your environment and your community. That's why we're taking more into account than just making profits. Since we started in 2008 we have created jobs in rural areas where the standard of living is still very low. By using formerly waste material as a resource, we have created value that has an immediate benefit for the local economy. And by working with production units run by micro-entrepreneurs, we are enabling people to generate their own income, and to build their capacities. These are perhaps small steps, but every long journey must begin somewhere. And we're picking up pace as we go along.
